Why is Orientation Important?
Student Orientations are held at the start of every academic term to help familiarize students with their new surroundings and the services and resources available to them. Students are encouraged to get fully involved in Berkeley College life and to take advantage of the opportunities that can help empower them to succeed.
During Orientation, students learn about the mission of Berkeley College and are introduced to faculty members and associates from Academic Advisement, the Library, Career Services, Financial Literacy, Student Accounts, Center for Academic Success, Registrar, Financial Aid, Financial Literacy, Counseling and Wellness Services, Accessibility Services, Office of Military and Veteran Affairs and Student Development and Campus Life.
Student Orientation Sessions
Student Development and Campus Life (SDCL) will host Onsite and/or Virtual Student Orientation via Zoom for all new students enrolled in all degree and certificate programs.
Student Orientation: Welcome to Berkeley College Be Connected and Be Informed. All new students are required to attend this session. The session is offered in the morning and evening and participation is only required for one of the timeslots for each session.
School of Health Studies Students (Only in specific Certificate and Degree Programs)
In addition to the webinars listed above that ALL new students are required to participate in, the School of Health Studies will be offering mandatory zoom sessions specifically for students enrolled in the following certificate and degree programs:
- Medical Insurance, Billing, and Coding
- Medical Assistant
- Patient Care Technician
- Surgical Processing Technician
- Surgical Technology
- Practical Nurse
- LPN to BSN
- MSN
